Silicon Valley’s Most and Least Expensive Homes Sold Last Week

Happy Monday! 245 single-family homes sold in Silicon Valley last week (encompassing San Mateo and Santa Clara counties). That’s a 20% decrease in sales from the previous week. However, much of this trend is typical for summertime in August and I’d expect to see the market heat up again in September. Here are last week’s most and least expensive homes sold in Silicon Valley.

Most Expensive

Last week’s most expensive sale was an expansive Atherton property located in sought-after Lindenwood, full of charm and potential with its two-way brick fireplace and high vaulted ceilings. The home sits on just under an acre, providing the new owners with ample space to entertain or expand.

Least Expensive

Last week’s least expensive sale is suited for a buyer looking the break into the flourishing Redwood City market. Its proximity to downtown, abundant natural light, and the updates made throughout were all key selling features of this home.
