Viewing festive holiday lights of the season throughout Silicon Valley is one of my favorite pastimes and I am excited to be able to take my daughter this year! Here are some of the best, glittering wonders to see:
Christmas Tree Lane
Fulton Street between Embarcadero Avenue and Seale Road

Begun in 1940, this annual celebration is a Palo Alto classic tradition - not to be missed!
Peninsula Light Show
1900 block of Eucalyptus Avenue
nightly through Dec. 25
True 1950’s neighborhood celebration with holiday lights, carols, fire pits
35th Annual Downtown San Jose Christmas in the Park*

This magical winter wonderland runs through the month of December.

Classic Cable Car Holiday Lights
Departs from Fisherman’s Wharf
Runs through December 30th (except Dec 25th)
$39/person and includes Santa hat
Tour lasts approx. 80 minutes; bring camera and blankets
Fishermans Wharf Lighted Boat Parade
6 pm - 8 pm
The decorated boats starting point is at Pier 39 times and makes it way down to Crissy Field, passing the Marina Green, and Aquatic Park.
